About Us

Chris grew up with several dogs and would always round up the neighborhood dogs to train them and go explore in the large backyards as a child. As he got older, he realized his true passion in life was working with dogs. In 2018, he quit working food service and began to work at various dog day cares for a couple of years while also taking on boarding clients from Rover. At this time, he also begun apprenticing under a local master dog trainer for four years. As his interest in dog training grew, he started attending dog training seminars with a specific interest in learning theory and animal behavior. Chris has developed a deep desire to continue to learn about dog behavior and various methods to train dogs. Chris was employed full time with the State of Delaware as a sworn Animal Control Officer for four years prior to quitting in October of 2023 to pursue dog training full time. In June of 2023, Chris enrolled in Ivan Balabanov's Training Without Conflict® Certification Program and in July of 2024, Chris became the first and only TWC Certified Dog Trainer in Delaware!

Gabby has always had a passion for animals, growing up riding horses. As an adult, her interest turned to dogs after she adopted her first dog, a Husky mix named Thor. He was an anxious dog who struggled with fear-based reactivity, leash pulling, and had very little obedience. He struggled in new environments and was known to pull people over due to his strength and prey drive. After building a relationship through the use of balanced methods and reward-based training, Thor became a wonderful pet. Since then, Gabby has competed in dog sports with her Border Collie, Sketch, and her Siberian Husky, Opie. She is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. She seeks every opportunity to improve her training skills, pursuing further education within the industry and attending several out-of-state seminars.
